This replacement Pari Proneb, Trek S Filter, and Vios Filter is bright white to be easy to detect discoloration indicating when the nebulizer filter should be changed. The filter blocks dirt and harmful particles from entering the compressor to prevent respiratory infection and to improve its function. Overtime, the particle buildup beings to turn the filter gray. A general rule for filter maintenance is adding a new filter every six months (at a minimum), the same time frame as a compatible Pari LC Sprint or Pari LC Plus Reusable Nebulizer. A filter should be replaced immediately if it's clogged or becomes wet.
