• Carbon bed is 2.5'' thick, for maximum "dwell time" - the longer the air is in contact with the carbon, the more chemicals are trapped
• Carbon filter is lined on each side (inside and outside) with an anti-microbial filter to prevent bacteria growth and trap carbon dust
• Medical-grade HEPA filter traps 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, such as pollens, dust, dust mites, and pet dander
• HEPA filter is warm rolled to prevent cracking at the folds and laser tested to ensure integrity
• Pre-filter traps large particles before they get to the HEPA filters, extending the filter life
• Pre-filter is easy to change (simply pulls out from the bottom) and can be vacuumed or replaced
• Powder coated 18 gauge steel housing ensures no release of harmful vapors
